So, who's your favorite Film Actor? What's your favorite movie/series that (s)he's in?

For me, It's a tough choice -- My favorite Film/Series actors change often.
I think I'm going to have to say...
John Krasinsky (He plays Jim Halpert from The Office).

How 'bout you guys?

I'm with you Chris, it's an ever changing status.
My consistent favorites are Katherine Hepburn, Robert Duvall and probably Meryl Streep....then, of course I'm a sucker for a old Cary Grant or even Doris Day movie....
TV is harder, not as much time to check those out...but I'm a West Wing fan and always like to see Alison Janning..ey.. (not the way it's spelled, it escapes me) my family laughs because I like the sappy TV programs, so not always the best actors in those...OH I loved Bea Arthur (you probably saw her on Golden Girls, but I remember her from my childhood as "Maude", I think I share her sense of sarcastic comedy..fun to see her work, sorry she's gone.   Whew! More than I ever thought I had to say about this topic.

Ahh, I haven't had a chance to catch 'Maud' but I've heard of it. Also, I really do enjoy Beas' work.
I loved how she could turn the simplest of things into a sarcastic pun -- Or at least her characters could. I don't know if you remember, but one episode of Golden Girls sticks to my mind...The Girls are having an issue with mice in the house, and towards the end, Dorothy has a very heartfelt scene with one of the mice...I've actually transcript-ed that scene for a monologue. It's hilarious.

My fave screen actors have been Tom Hanks and Robin Williams since I was a teenager!  I actually shared one of my fave movies with Andrew today, we watched Hook!  I love it.  As far as tv goes, I am more into drama and action shows but my current two faves are Eureeka (sp?) on SyFy, the whole family watches that together. And my newest fave is Glee although I cant get anyone to watch that one with me!!

Whoah, I completely forgot...Tony Shalhoub (Adrienne Monk from Monk). He pulls off the part SO well!
Also, I'm with you Sydney, Robin Williams is among my favorite Film Actors. Truly a great comedian, but he can pull of pretty much any part (i.e. Patch Adams).

It's a jungle out there...Disorder and confusion everywhere! Tongue
Absolutely love it. Have most of the series recorded on my DVR. Dad and I watch one or two a day, usually. It's pretty awesome! And Tony Shalhoub is truly a great actor.
